Ankle Rehabilitation Success Story: Congratulations Althea on becoming the 2017 Port Lincoln Tunarama Women’s Tuna Toss Champion.
Althea suffered a severely broken ankle in 2016 which required extensive surgery. Since this time Althea has put all her energy into her ankle rehabilitation process, leaving no stone unturned.
Althea’s perseverance payed off when she flew over to Port Lincoln to compete in the 2017 Tunarama Tuna Toss. It was here that Althea won the women’s tuna toss competition, with the PM on the sideline supporting her all the way! Here is a link to the Port Lincoln Times.
We still have some work to do with the end stage ankle rehabilitation process, but congratulations Althea on a great performance which is yet another testament to the hard work you put in week in week out with training and rehabilitation.
